It’s the first thing I always think about when I see the name Kendall Jenner.
It’s not an understatement: this woman is the face of financial modelling, and her success in the industry is due to her ability to master the art of the “one size fits all” approach to modelling.
Kendall has won awards for her modelling skills, and even landed a job in the White House.
She is also a model herself, and has built a huge following of followers on social media.
She has a brand and she has a product, and that’s why she is a darling among models and financial experts.
“She is the most influential model in the world today,” says Jamie Anderson, a leading financial model, author and speaker who has written three books on modelling and has spoken at top finance conferences.
“Her success speaks for itself.”
Kendall’s success has come with a high price tag, though, because her modelling business has been criticised for its low-quality and low-wage work.
Many models are paid a very small amount for modelling work, but that money is often taken by the model themselves, who often do not get paid for their work at all.
“Kendall’s success is a direct result of her success,” says Anderson.
“It is not a coincidence that her business model is a massive money making machine for her, and she gets paid to model for it.”
But Kendall is not just a financial success.
She’s also a social media star, and thanks to her success, she has amassed an army of followers and fans.
“If you look at her social media accounts and see her picture on her wall, it is just amazing to me that she is able to get so much traction,” says Andrew Hensley, the CEO of the model-management agency, LendMe.

She first started modelling at the age of 14 when she worked for Victoria’s Secret, but soon changed careers to work in the adult industry.
She says her first modeling gig was working for a clothing company and then a company called The Models Club, which is now a brand owned by the lingerie giant LVMH.
“I was working at the lingerier’s office when I first got the job and I saw a lot of girls wearing the same clothes.
So I started modelling for them,” Kendall says.
“After that, I was working with the lingery brand and then for a few years I worked for another lingerie company, Lulu.
Then I moved on to a few other companies.”
After she started her modelling career in 2013, Kendall says she was “so excited to get started”.
“I just wanted to be the next Kate Moss,” she says.
Her success has also given her an extra boost in her quest to get paid well.
“This is the best part of modelling for me,” Kendall adds.
“But I think I am just starting to realise that I have to work a little harder. “

In a recent interview, Kendall told Vanity Fair magazine that she had been working for Lend Me for about a year when she realised she needed to change her career and start her own agency.
Kendall says that it took her a while to realise just how important modelling was, but it finally became a passion for her.
“When I started my modelling career, I had a very hard time finding modelling jobs,” Kendall said.
“And when I found them, I didn’t get paid very well, so what was the point?
Kendall is currently working as a consultant on a financial modelling book for LVMh. “

“They’ve done the work to create this global brand that I want to build, and to be able to share that with the world.”
