Tesla is working to develop a new storage system that can power the electric vehicles that are the centerpiece of its business model, a source familiar with the project said.

The technology is based on a new type of battery known as a GFS, which Tesla calls a “high-density” battery.

The battery is designed to hold more than 10 times its volume, and can store power in high-efficiency lithium-ion batteries, according to the source.

The company has a large-scale manufacturing plant that makes batteries, and it will soon begin using those batteries for charging Tesla vehicles.

The Tesla GFS is a key component in the company’s long-term energy storage plans, the source said.

Tesla is developing the new battery technology to replace its older battery technology, which is based in part on older technologies, including batteries from General Motors.

Tesla has been working on developing a GCS since 2015, when the company began building the Gigafactory in Nevada, the first large-format manufacturing plant in the world.

Tesla says it has already started selling batteries in Tesla vehicles, but the GFS was one of the first to come online.

In 2018, Tesla began testing the GCS on the Model S, a car that is a centerpiece of the company.

The Model S is built to be able to recharge itself and has been the vehicle of choice for Tesla owners since its introduction in 2013.

In November, Tesla announced it had begun producing the batteries for its next generation Model 3 sedan, which will be introduced later this year.

The goal is to have all the Model 3s built by 2021.

Tesla will begin shipping the batteries in the second half of 2018.

The GFS battery is currently being manufactured at the company headquarters in Fremont, Calif.

The GFS technology will be available by 2025, Tesla said.
